Manufactured food items are probably the simplest way to feed fish. It is available in the form of pellets or fish flakes. Don't forget that some bottom hugging fish will need pellet food as the flakes won't get to the bottom of the fish tank before being swallowed by other inhabitants. You shouldn't be tempted to add too much as overfeeding fish is a very common cause of pollution in custom aquariums.
